I do have to admit that the halftime entertainment featuring Bruno Mars and the Red Hot Chili Peppers was great, but because of the dominance of Seattle over Denver the game was super boring.
Unless you just had no interest in the game, you are aware that the final score was 43-8. The score says it all, so I am not going to bore you with the stats.
No disrespect to Denver but Seattle’s All-Pro corner Richard Sherman was correct in pointing out that Denver wasn’t even the second best team in the NFL. In his eyes the Super Bowl was played two weeks prior in the NFC Championship game against the San Francisco 49ers.
I realize this wasn’t easy for him to admit because of the tense rivalry between the two teams; but I must admit that I enjoyed that game much better than Super Bowl XLVIII.
If I had to compare the Seahawks and Broncos to coffees, I would have to say that Seattle is a Starbucks brand and Denver is a dollar store one.
