The Philadelphia Eagles have never lost a game coming off a bye week under Head Coach Andy Reid and the Eagles are looking to prove that their early season struggles are behind them.
If Atlanta can go on to claim a 7-0 record, they will more than likely gain home-field advantage in the NFC playoffs. Matt Ryan has been slicing and dicing defenses apart. Ryan is averaging 292.7 yards passing per game. I suppose this is why he’s been dubbed Matty Ice. I mean, you have to be chill with those kinds of stats.
Atlanta will be under a lot of pressure to extend to 7-0. They will have to contend with the Eagles’ 13-0 record after a bye week. That and the Eagles’ desire to soar into the playoffs again.
Bar none, this is the game of the week. And in the end we will witness how well Atlanta poises itself under pressure. But more than that, we’ll see if the Eagles are pretenders are contenders. And in the end, we’ll see which bird will soar at Lincoln Financial Field.
